Call for CollectionSpace Nominations

The CollectionSpace Leadership Working Group is seeking nominations for the following working groups:

Leadership Working Group and
Functional Working Group

Nominees should be presently employed at a CollectionSpace member institution.  Nominees should be experienced with CollectionSpace and be capable of participating on a regular basis throughout the term of service of July 1, 2017-June 30, 2019.  Appointees are eligible to have their appointments renewed for an additional 2 year term.  Only CollectionSpace members or those who plan to become members before 6/30/17 may submit nominations.

Self-nominations are welcome!

Leadership Working Group
The Leadership Working Group oversees ongoing development and support of the CollectionSpace organizational home, including the review and prioritization of software development, technical infrastructure, and user support roadmaps, so as to meet the needs of a broad and diverse spectrum of museums and other collecting institutions in a balanced and equitable manner.

Functional Working Group
The Functional Working Group advises the Technical and Leadership Working Groups on user recommended enhancements; proposes, designs and documents functional requirements, specifications, and data schema; and advocates within the user community, as well liaising with the broader museum, cultural, and biological heritage communities.

To nominate someone, please identify the person, her/his organization, contact info, and indicate which working group and areas of activity to which the nominee is prepared to contribute.

Nominations must be received by 5 pm on May 26, 2017.
