Add Apache TLS/SSL landing page for CollectionSpace

Hi,

I'm trying to add a TLS/SSL proxy using your instructions from

https://collectionspace.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOC/pages/https://collectionspace.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOC/pages/1545307002/Add+Apache+TLS+SSL+landing+page+for+CollectionSpace1545307002/Add+Apache+TLS+SSL+landing+page+for+CollectionSpacehttps://collectionspace.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOC/pages/1545307002/Add+Apache+TLS+SSL+landing+page+for+CollectionSpace

Everything works fine WITHOUT using https.  If I just use port 80 I can login and start working.

When I add TLS/SSL on port 443 it doesn't work.

I can get to the login page, but then I get an "Invalid CORS request" error when I try to login.

After a day of googleing and trying lots of different suggested modifications to the Apache mod_proxy setup and Tomcat web.xml, I am still not able to get it to work through https.

I noticed the instructions on that page (despite the title)  are just for port 80 & do not include TLS/SSL setup.

Has anyone gotten this to work?

Any ideas?

Thanks so much!

-Chris

Hi Chris,
I updated the instructions at https://collectionspace.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOC/pages/1545307002/Add+Apache+TLS+SSL+reverse+proxy+to+CollectionSpace. Give that a try. If those don't work for you, I'll have to get more information about your installation.

Thanks,
Ray
