CollectionSpace Community: Happy New Year! I hope everyone was able to take some time off and recharge for the new year. The CollectionSpace program had a very exciting 2016 - a few quick highlights: - Doubled the number of active implementers, and gained 14 new members<http://www.collectionspace.org/who-we-are/> - Distributed over $100,000 in mini-grant funds to eight great organizations<http://www.collectionspace.org/category/mini-grant/> - Two public releases with four new profiles and new features and functionality<https://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/collectionspace/Current+and+Past+Releases> We are looking forward to some very exciting developments in 2017: - Release of v5.0 this fall with the new UI code<https://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/collectionspace/2016/08/03/UI+Rewrite%3A+A+One-Year+Mission> (we'll send out a longer email about this later this month) - More mini-grants to award!<http://www.collectionspace.org/grant-opportunities/> - Exciting partnerships with community profile stewards at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and Rhode Island School of Design, and the Western States Arts Federation We'd like to extend warm thanks to all those who became members in 2016, and encourage those on the fence to become members in 2017<http://www.collectionspace.org/membership/>.
