We are delighted to announce that the first CollectionSpace implementation mini-grant has been awarded to the San Diego Chinese Historical Museumhttp://www.collectionspace.org/who-we-are/san-diego-chinese-historical-museum/. Located in lovely San Diego, California, the SDCHM plans to use CollectionSpace to catalog their holdings of thousands of ethnographic artifacts and works of art related to China and Chinese in America.

The project will be managed by Tiffany Wai-Ying Beres, Associate Director of the Museum, with collaboration from the Balboa Park Online Collaborative and its CEO, Nik Honeysett.

Please join us in welcoming Tiffany and the rest of the staff of the SDCHM to our community.

Welcome SDCHM!  CollectionSpace is a wonderful database and we've been reaping its many benefits since we implemented this fall.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me as I am the project coordinator and administrator for the San Diego Museum of Man's implementation.

Best of luck!
