Hello CollectionSpace Community! The CollectionSpace team is delighted to announce the release of CollectionSpace Version 7.2. Highlights of the release include: * A new chronology authority to support eras, historic time periods and field collection events * A new archaeological place authority to support archaeological site indexes * A series of new reports to support workflows including a Deed of Gift, Accession and Loan Reports * In addition to the new functionality that you can see, technology updates are also included in each release including this one Everyone is welcome to try out the new features and functionality through our demo sites available at: https://collectionspace.org/community-profiles. These profiles will be updated soon to reflect the new release. For hosted clients, Lyrasis hosting staff will follow-up shortly with details about the installation of 7.2 for you. As always, our design, development, and release process could not happen without the support of our wonderful community. Work is already underway for the 8.0 release which will feature SAML-based Single Sign On as well as the 8.1 release which will feature a new Held In Trust Procedure.
