CollectionSpace Developer
If you are passionate about the arts, humanities, natural and/or social sciences, CollectionSpace is where you will find a lively group of enthusiastic and committed professionals working together to design, develop, and use free and open source software in support of collections management, information dissemination, and publishing efforts at museums and collection holding institutions around the globe. Find out more about us at www.collectionspace.orghttp://www.collectionspace.org.

We're looking for a developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for helping community members with their institution-specific extensions and deployments; developing schema extension sets to support a variety of practice communities; participating on the technical committee where you will work with and learn from other developers how to fix bugs, contribute to the code review process, develop written and visual documentation, and collaborate on the development of new features and functionality. In addition, you will manage the release process including writing test plans, working with the community on quality assurance testing and code contributions, and automating tests. Learn more about our established and community-driven QA process here: http://bit.ly/CollectionSpaceQA

You don't have to be an expert Java developer to join our team.  And, you can live wherever you'd like to live. We do, however, need you to be a self starter, eager to learn, able to manage your time well, and be comfortable working in an open source environment that values transparency, community, and collaboration.
