CollectionSpace Community,

We need your help!  The CollectionSpace v4.1 QA release is public and ready for testing.  We have more than 130 test plans to complete before we can declare the v4.1 release final on November 7th, 2014.  Even if you have time to only complete one or two testing tasks, it will make a huge difference.

To help, visit the Testing Tasks Release 4.1 page at:
http://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/collectionspace/Testing+Tasks+Release+4.1

Look for your name on the page.  If you find it, "drag & drop" a few testing tasks into your task list.  If you don't find your name and want to help, please email me at richard.millet@lyrasis.org and I will create a task list with your name on it.

If you're new to helping with the CollectionSpace testing effort, start by picking a testing task with the word "Supplementary" in its name.  These testing tasks are simpler and take less time to complete.

Thank you for helping,

Richard Millet

If you're brave enough to take on one of the roles & permissions tests, please feel free to use the roles and user accounts I set up for the Chrome test.

Record Type A: Cataloging
Record Type B: Loan In
Record Type C: Valuation
Record Type D: Object Exit
Vocabulary Type A: Organization
Vocabulary Type B: Person

All user names follow the pattern: user1chrome@collectionspace.org, and they all have the password password.

Happy testing!
