Hierarchy contexts not sorted

Miranda,

If you're searching across all record types, you can't sort on search results, but if you limit your search to just Objects you should be able to click on the ID number column header and sort those results.

Note that if your numbers don't have leading zeros, the sorting will look funny - e.g. 2020.1.22 would come before 2020.1.3. We are working on a solution for more sortable numbers; it should be in the next release.

Hope this helps,
Megan

Kara et al,

I search on accession number, and get back all kinds of results—for example 1988.054.0077 shows up ahead of and right next to 1988.054.0013. There seems to be no logic to how the results are auto-sorted. I can’t figure out how to sort them into, say, numerical order. Has anyone figured this out? Am I missing something obvious? Thanks!
